Our Leadership

Winston Chong

CEO & Principal Adviser

Winston witnessed first-hand the broken and self-serving ways of the investment banking world during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis.  He believes that life only counts when it is founded on the redeeming truths of a Savior.  As an LPA financial adviser since 2000 and now its owner, he advises from the perspective that financial fulfilment and freedom can only be grasped when we acknowledge that we are stewards – not owners – of our time, talents and treasures.  Consequently, our choices in life actually count towards the real life to come.  Only with this paradigm can the struggle against greed, fear, insecurity and discontentment be won.

Winston is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and a member of Kingdom Advisors (www.kingdomadvisors.com).  He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Information Processing from Massey University, New Zealand.

Chia Hong Ngee

Director & Principal Adviser

An IT engineer by training, Hong Ngee has been an insurance adviser for over two decades.  She is creative and passionate about applying insurance-based solutions to mitigate personal financial risk at various life stages.  Over the years, she has realized the need for her advisory role to serve the next generation of clients and actively mentors LPA’s advisers for their personal growth and development.

Hong Ngee is a Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter and a member of Kingdom Advisors (www.kingdomadvisors.com).  She holds a Bachelor of Technology (Computing Technology) from Massey University, New Zealand.

Lee Chooi Kuan

Operations Manager

Dedicated to the finance sector, Chooi Kuan brings rich experience in back-office support for investment banking, private banking, and securities businesses. She served as Winston’s personal assistant for a few months in LPA before being quickly moved into the role of being the company’s Operations Manager in 2016.

Chooi Kuan’s attention to detail and methodical approach to problem solving makes her a strength to LPA.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

Tony Ang

Financial Services Manager

With his experience in the banking sector, Tony began his journey at LPA in 2007. A fork in the road led him out to ‘greener pastures’ for a little while, but Tony eventually returned just before the organisation underwent its restructuring process in 2017, which gave him the opportunity to expand his portfolio beyond client servicing. As one of the organisation’s longest-standing and most senior employees, Tony’s desire is to see LPA become the brightest jewel in the financial services sector.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning) from RMIT, Australia.
